A visual art exhibition and competition called Art of the Body is a highlight of the Australian Body Art Carnivale. The exhibition and competition is organised by Arts for Community, a charitable organisation supporting people with disabilities through the arts.
Art of the Body seeks to celebrate the human form, and artworks exhibited can be paintings, miniatures, or three dimensional art. The 2010 competition and exhibition theme is "Fantasy".
All artworks exhibited are for sale, and artists are also in the running for a number of prizes and awards.
