What a weekend! Eumundi came alive on the weekend with the Australian Body Art Carnivale drawing thousands to watch some of the nation’s best body artists, face painters, pavement artists, vehicle artists and wearable art designers do battle.
The buzz in the air in Eumundi all weekend was electric – especially on Friday night for the gala launch and Masked Gallery Walk, and then again on Saturday night with the parade and award ceremony leading into the Sunshine Coast Daily Street Party.
The competition this year was extremely close, and while we congratulate all who entered, an especially HUGE “hats off” to the winners of the 2011 Australian Body Art Carnivale competitions. The prize-winners for 2011 are as follows:
